GRAND BEND ONTARIO
Grand Bend is located on the east coast of Lake Huron and just
north of London Ontario. It is a beach town second to none. It is a summer/winter
resort destination with the most beautiful beaches and spectacular sunsets.
Grand Bend has sun, fun and surf. It has golf, hiking, theatre, spas,
fine dining, drag racing, mini putt, batting cages and so much more. A

the Huron Country Playhouse, sailboats, power watercraft and excellent
docking facilities for boats of any size. It has everything from
T-Shirts to luxury ladies designs for sale. It has camping, resorts,
motels and bed and breakfasts to welcome you. The famous Pinery
Provincial Park, Lambton Heritage Museum, Huron County Playhouse,
as well as the Rotary Trail are just some of the things to see and
do in the area.
Following upon the heels of fantastic summer fun, you can catch
the fall golfing at Oakwood Inn or Bayview Golf just up Highway
21 in St. Joseph's. Golf in Grand Bend and area is simply fantastic.
Soon after that, the snow mobile trails will open and hiking through
the Pinery Provincial Park will be in your plans. Enjoy the really
big snow sledding hill in the Pinery, its a ball.
You will also notice the abundance of wildlife, birds, even butterflies
all sharing the magnificence of the area. During the spring the
Arctic Tundra Swans, also known as whistling swans, have the area
mapped out as a stopping post. The land behind the Lambton Heritage
Museum on highway 21 south of Grand Bend is a popular viewing area.
